i flew from london out to nordbariatric clinic for bilateral inguinal hernia surgery the whole process was 100% perfect , the surgeon comes to chat with you in your private room at the clinic before and after surgery , the nurse care is great , i stayed at nord private apartments for four days after surgery to rest up ,where a nurse visits you daily ,i downloaded bolt taxi app though did not need to use it as drivers are included to take you everywhere

This clinic is amazing! I hady gastric sleeve on April 14th I can't cannot say enough good things. Please don't have any hesitation when booking with them. From the minute I decided to go for surgery they were with me every step of the way from the wonderful customer relations team, the minute I landed there was a lovely gentleman waiting for me holding the Nords clinic sign. Dropped us to our apartment and made sure we had everything we needed. you get text messages in plenty of time to tell you when you'll be picked up for transport to the clinic. Every driver we had was kind courteous and very helpful some even cracking jokes.The clinic itself is spotlessly clean with very kind staff that speak incredible English. They explained everything to me every step of the way. I met the professor and he is a lovely kind gentleman. Who will put you at ease the minute you talk to him. He's very open and answers any questions you may have.He completely put me at ease. I cannot express how exceptional the care I got at the nords clinic was for me and for all the patients that were with me at the time. The nurses in the clinic are amazing. To me the head Nurse Ausra was so kind and reassuring, and nothing was too much to ask, also Juste and Rasa were so wonderful. Don't worry about a language barrier they all speak english we were laughing and joking with them too. I would have no hesitation advising any of my loved ones to go for nords. They are amazing ! Going for nords was one of the best decision Ive made in my life so far.

I travelled to Nords from Ireland to have a gastric bypass. I cannot speak highly enough of the clinic. From my first contact with the lovely Julija to the nurses to the surgeon, I was cared for with professionalism and kindness. I am 3 weeks post op and just under 3 three stone down. I am so glad I got brave and went for it. I have the surgeons information and information for the dietitian if I need any support. If you're thinking of Nordbariatric go for it. You won't regret it.

Outstanding service, from the first email to receiving the operation, everything ran smoothly and went really well. You can join a Facebook page where there is a community of others thinking about going through it/have been through it. You can ask any questions/concern. Then once you pay deposit, you join a WhatsApp group to chat with all the others having that op in the same month. It's a brilliant service and to be able to talk to others at the same stage, is so helpful. Everyone explains everything and happy to answer any questions, big or small. The clinical is clean and as pictured in the pictures. All the staff are professional. I received a gastric bypass and the aftercare has been as fantastic as the pre op. Would highly recommend and would use again for other surgeries. Happy to answer any questions you may have about this place.

The team at Nordbariatric were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. From the very first email I sent they have been there to answer every question(no matter how weird or irrational some of my questions were).I had all my questions answered and all the information I could need and they still waited patiently while i went and researched and contacted other clinics to compare and make sure Nords was the team for me...They proved to absolutely be the team for me and after all my research and contact with other clinics(in various places in Lithuania and further afield) they were there waiting and ready to roll when I contacted them to say I had made my decision and was choosing their team.My time in Lithuania was fantastic and the care I received from all involved was exceptional. The girls at the desk in the clinic, the nurses in clinic and on the ward, the Professor all couldn't possibly be nicer, more knowledgeable and caring. Even the logistics team of drivers who pick you up at the airport and shuttle you to and from clinic etc are lovely people and some are downright hilarious!!! I couldn't recommend Nordbariatric highly enough. If members of my own immediate family were looking for a team and surgeon I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving them in the hands of anyone only this team.

I underwent surgery for an Inguinal Hernia on 15 January 2024. I was concerned about going into the unknown but the waiting list for hernia surgery in Belfast is 2-3 years. If you have unsure about travelling somewhere you don't know, join the Facebook group, there are plenty of people who will share their experiences. The feedback was so good I became almost cynical and managed to contact a local lady who was over the moon about the treatment she had for gallstones. I also was in regular contact with the clinic itself and they were nothing but courteous and professional. They even arranged a conversation via WhatsApp via the surgeon. At home on the NHS this wouldn't happen and any 5 minute conversation with a private clinic will cost you £300.00. Every part of my contact with them was professional, That combined with the feedback made up my mind and I booked. I'm glad I did. I don't think I've seen a more modern, hygienically clean hospital. Prior to the operation, I spoke with the surgeon and the anaesthetist. Again I was taken back by their professionalism. Obviously price is the main issue but I just knew I was in safe and capable hands. After surgery, the doctor visited again and we were checked up on by the nurse who was lovely and yet another thoroughly professional person. One thing they do is room you with another person undergoing the same procedure. I was disconcerted by this but it's a very good thing. You can talk each other through your nerves and act as mutual support. Again it's an indication of an incredible detailed approach. The next day they allowed me to stay late and I could have stayed over but decided to leave at 4pm. I know if there are any issues, they'll be right there. One thing I would advise is to give yourself a good few days before travelling back. All surgery is invasive and you need time to recover. In summary, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Every part of what they did was first class.

This is a honest review. I had a gastric bypass on the 12/02/2024 and this was my first ever operation and I cannot fault Nords at all. From the apartments to the logistics team to the nurses to the surgeon every single person I met and that cared for me was top tier 10/10. I don’t think I have ever been so cared for medically. The nurses at the clinic work so hard and they are so caring. The surgeon is fantastic, my incisions from are absolutely perfect and clean and healing extremely well only just a week into my journey. The reps are so efficient and answered all my questions and were so prompt at replying. To everyone at Nords thank you so much and keep doing what you’re doing because you are fantastic ! X

I was a bit scared to go abroad to do my gastric bypass, but after a careful research, and (many) mails with very patient Julija, I came to Kaunas for my surgery. Very modern and clean clinic, extremely nice and professional staff. I can't say anything negative about the clinic, or staff. And the professor Maleckas is a wonderful man. Everything went smoothly and I am so grateful for the new chance in my life.

I had my own surgery in 2021. Would not recommend. They brought forward the date of my surgery by a day, at the very last minute, and I was supposed to receive a call from the surgeon the night before surgery as a consultation which never happened. I was taken care of well enough, and the staff were lovely to deal with. I had a private room due to Covid. The aftercare was horrendous. I was removed from the Facebook group support, for stating that I wouldn’t return to Lithuania for my skin removal surgery, as they had advertised initially that bariatrics patients would get a small discount on their plastics surgery however this was withdrawn after bariatric surgery and they would not honor it. There was another male member on the support group who was going onto my Facebook profile and screenshotting my photos and posting them in the group, which the group admins did not action. It is a money racket, they give referral fees to people who can convince others to go to Nords for surgery. I think it’s 150 per referral which results in instagram pages popping up, influencing people into gastric surgery. They do not care about their patients and are just there to protect their pockets.

My name is Hanna, I am 51 years old. She made the decision about the operation over the course of two years. Today is the 5th day after surgery, Vertical Gastric Resection, I am happy with my condition, I can drive without any problems, I have no complications, the first days after the operation, I felt a little discomfort but I got it under control, good care from the medical staff at the hospital, helped me feel more confident , I was impressed by the approach and attention to clients or us patients, on the part of my professor, Surgeon Almantas Maleskas. Polite, intelligent and a master of his craft, a person with a capital letter, with great understanding and respect for the problem,,, I am impressed,. I had an operation here 10 days ago, I was completely delighted with the clinic and its employees, from the first e-mail to today. They answer all questions quickly and efficiently, explaining all the nuances. The rooms in the clinic are new and beautiful, with a TV. The staff is very attentive and caring. I have never felt so good and comfortable, I have never been so cared for and treated so attentively anywhere. Even after discharge, they are interested in my well-being and answer questions. My surgery was a complete success with no complications. The entire medical team—including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, physio, dietitian, and nurses—was incredibly skilled and compassionate. 100 % recommend Nordbariatric. From the moment you arrive being picked up at the airport by logistics right through to being dropped back to airport. My surgery went well with no complications, but others I met there who arrived with complications to begin with, the level of care was better than what you would recieve in Ireland. Your definitely in safe hands and staff are brilliant, explaining everything, attentive polite and make you extremely at ease. They won't even let u carry your bags !. Go for it. !!!

I remember needing to choose a clinic, the uk was out of my budget, turkey was too far away and too cheap for my liking but Lithuania seemed like a good middle option. I read all of these wonderful reviews, joined their Facebook group and watched a video on YouTube of the surgeon himself, performing a gastric bypass with such ease and knowledge and that was when I decided this clinic was for me! Arriving at the clinic, it was so clean, quiet and professional. The apartments were also brilliant to stay in! The surgeon and whole nursing team were bloody fantastic during my entire time there! I can’t thank them enough. I felt so cared for & in good hands. My surgery went really well and I’m now 2 weeks post op & feeling fab! If you’re on the fence about which clinic to choose… I think you’ve found it.

They did an amazing job with my gastric bypass! Faultless Review! For a number of reasons we never ended up travelling from the UK for Gallbladder Removal Surgery, but I wanted to ensure that I left a review for the time and effort which Ruta invested in answering any questions we had in regards to costs, travel, procedure, stay in Lithuania etc etc. I wish the service offered by Nordbariatric was replicated by the UK providers. I had an inguinal hernia repaired at Nordclinic by keyhole surgery (laparoscopy) on 4th February 2025. The surgeon, Prof Dr Albertas Dauksa, is a kind and wonderful surgeon and he is my new hero! I have no memory of being adminstered with the anaesthetic but it was fabulously done. One moment I was looking with interest at the theatre ceiling and the next moment I was awakening, pain free and cosy in my bed with a friendly nurse bringing me a lovely dinner. I was really pleased to discover that Prof Dauksa also went out of his way to check on my previous hernia repair of 17 years ago (on the other side) and reported that it was looking great. Finally, three days after surgery, he gave the new repair an ultrasonic check up and I was given a 'medical report' with full details of the procedure that he had carried out. I can only add that the logistics operation is super-impressive with friendly drivers taking care of all transport between airport, hotel and clinic. I had many chats with other patients and everyone agreed that the clinic, its medical staff and its logistics team are the best. Finally I'm happy to add that got in a bit of tourism in Kaunas and had a great train trip to Vilnius.

I had an inguinal hernia operation at this clinic. The service is top notch! They pick you up from the airport and take you to your apartment. The clinic organizes all your transportation around the city and it's all included in the cost of the operation! The staff is very friendly and speaks several languages. The rooms are very clean and beautiful, there's even a safe. They give you pajamas and slippers. You also get a wonderful lunch after the operation. The nurse is always with you and is always ready to help! The surgeons are mostly professionals! Many thanks to Dr. Albertas Dauksa, he did a hard job on my large hernia. The next day I was discharged and could walk easily!

My name is Hanna, I am 51 years old. She made the decision about the operation over the course of two years. Today is the 5th day after surgery, Vertical Gastric Resection, I am happy with my condition, I can drive without any problems, I have no complications, the first days after the operation, I felt a little discomfort but I got it under control, good care from the medical staff at the hospital, helped me feel more confident , I was impressed by the approach and attention to clients or us patients, on the part of my professor, Surgeon Almantas Maleskas. Polite, intelligent and a master of his craft, a person with a capital letter, with great understanding and respect for the problem,,, I am impressed,. The beginning of a new life, the beginning of a new self!

I had my own surgery in 2021. Would not recommend. They brought forward the date of my surgery by a day, at the very last minute, and I was supposed to receive a call from the surgeon the night before surgery as a consultation which never happened. I was taken care of well enough, and the staff were lovely to deal with. I had a private room due to Covid. The aftercare was horrendous. I was removed from the Facebook group support, for stating that I wouldn’t return to Lithuania for my skin removal surgery, as they had advertised initially that bariatrics patients would get a small discount on their plastics surgery however this was withdrawn after bariatric surgery and they would not honor it. There was another male member on the support group who was going onto my Facebook profile and screenshotting my photos and posting them in the group, which the group admins did not action. It is a money racket, they give referral fees to people who can convince others to go to Nords for surgery. I think it’s 150 per referral which results in instagram pages popping up, influencing people into gastric surgery. They do not care about their patients and are just there to protect their pockets.

Nordbariatric clinic is simply amazing. From start to finish, I’ve had a wonderful experience with Nords. Julija was my rep and she answered all of my many questions thoroughly and never left me wondering about anything. She always put my mind at rest which was so appreciated when you’re having such a big procedure done. I remember needing to choose a clinic, the uk was out of my budget, turkey was too far away and too cheap for my liking but Lithuania seemed like a good middle option. Fair price & top of the range clinic! I read all of these wonderful reviews, joined their Facebook group and watched a video on YouTube of the surgeon himself, performing a gastric bypass with such ease and knowledge and that was when I decided this clinic was for me! Arriving at the clinic, it was so clean, quiet and professional. The apartments were also brilliant to stay in! The surgeon and whole nursing team were bloody fantastic during my entire time there! I can’t thank them enough. I felt so cared for & in good hands. My surgery went really well and I’m now 2 weeks post op & feeling fab! If you’re on the fence about which clinic to choose… I think you’ve found it.

They did an amazing job with my gastric bypass! I have had no complications and everything from arrival to all the important things were covered and I felt comfortable and relaxed with little to almost no pain! Thank you Nord Clinic! Would definitely recommend for weight loss surgery. I got a gastric bypass and would recommend to anybody. From initial enquiry right until now nords have been great. Very professional and high standard throughout making every step of the way easier.

I had an inguinal hernia repaired at Nordclinic by keyhole surgery (laparoscopy) on 4th February 2025. The surgeon, Prof Dr Albertas Dauksa, is a kind and wonderful surgeon and he is my new hero! I have no memory of being adminstered with the anaesthetic but it was fabulously done. One moment I was looking with interest at the theatre ceiling and the next moment I was awakening, pain free and cosy in my bed with a friendly nurse bringing me a lovely dinner. I was really pleased to discover that Prof Dauksa also went out of his way to check on my previous hernia repair of 17 years ago (on the other side) and reported that it was looking great. Finally, three days after surgery, he gave the new repair an ultrasonic check up and I was given a 'medical report' with full details of the procedure that he had carried out. I can only add that the logistics operation is super-impressive with friendly drivers taking care of all transport between airport, hotel and clinic. I had many chats with other patients and everyone agreed that the clinic, its medical staff and its logistics team are the best. Finally I'm happy to add that got in a bit of tourism in Kaunas and had a great train trip to Vilnius.

100 % recommend Nordbariatric. From the moment you arrive being picked up at the airport by logistics right through to being dropped back to airport. My surgery went well with no complications, but others I met there who arrived with complications to begin with, the level of care was better than what you would recieve in Ireland. Your definitely in safe hands and staff are brilliant, explaining everything, attentive polite and make you extremely at ease. They won't even let u carry your bags !. Go for it. !!!

Faultless Review! For a number of reasons we never ended up travelling from the UK for Gallbladder Removal Surgery, but I wanted to ensure that I left a review for the time and effort which Ruta invested in answering any questions we had in regards to costs, travel, procedure, stay in Lithuania etc etc. I wish the service offered by Nordbariatric was replicated by the UK providers. A truly wonderful experience, but I am sorry that we couldn't travel as expected. Chris & Sharon

I had an inguinal hernia operation at this clinic. The service is top notch! They pick you up from the airport and take you to your apartment. The clinic organizes all your transportation around the city and it's all included in the cost of the operation! The staff is very friendly and speaks several languages. The rooms are very clean and beautiful, there's even a safe. They give you pajamas and slippers. You also get a wonderful lunch after the operation. The nurse is always with you and is always ready to help! The surgeons are mostly professionals! Many thanks to Dr. Albertas Dauksa, he did a hard job on my large hernia. The next day I was discharged and could walk easily!
